Puppy obedience training

Obedience generally refers to the abidance of instructions, delivered by coach or trainer. Obedience training is generally concerned with the training to a new puppy. Obedience training has a wide range. It starts from the introductory training and reaches till the expert training. In the beginning part, basic things are taught to the puppy that comprises of fundamental instructions like “come here”, “sit down” and “go there” etc. If a puppy is bitterly trained, then he must follow all the instructions delivered by trainer.

However it is very time-consuming and prolonged process to teach obedience to any puppy but still this duration varies from pet to pet, way of teaching and capacity of learning of both learner and trainer. Anyone can easily train the puppies. They may be owner, handler or any trainer. Basic training in obedience can be easily accomplished in 5-8 weeks by a course where it is strictly mentioned the way in which handler must have to behave with the puppies.

In general, any puppy has a capability of learning one instruction or command at any instant whatsoever method is adopted. We should never expect any such thing from the puppy which he cannot perform and ultimately he bounds to elude it. We should always keep a certain limit in our mind while training process of puppy and should never impose additional instructions which may turn into their frustration.

We should always give respect to puppy’s nature and behavior in the initial stage which leads in the increment in there self-confidence. In fact we should appreciate puppy’s latest achievement and activities to encourage him. By doing this, we will be facing two benefits. First one is the establishment of concentration within the puppy and also we will be succeeded in making affable relationship with him. This will grow some good habits in the puppy. We should never get irritate while training them in obedience and should never give them punishment.
