Belgian Tervuren is a breed of mixed type of all the different Belgium breeds which has its own standards and this breed is very popular in all over the world. This is a well squared-proportioned and medium sized dog with all colors and skin textures in different habitat conditions. The males are 24-26 inches long and weigh about 60-65 lbs. the females are finer and lighter in respect to the male ones.
Belgian Tervuren is comprised of a white small patch on the chest and white tips on the toes. This breed has a versatile temperament and is very energetic, hard working and requires jobs to keep it busy all the time. They can be used in agility, obedience and various military operations work so that they can be safely used in the various national activities and shows.
If this breed is not kept busy with work or various aerobic jobs, they can become hyperactive and destructive. These breeds are very loyal and obedient and they can sense the slightest change in the living conditions. They can be used in the activities of watch dogs and they should be kept in covered gardens so that they cannot escape from your home. They are very family friendly are very obliged to your children if trained in such a socialized manner.
The master should not own at the first time for it has a very high maintenance level. They generally project their elegance and alertness. They have thick coats on their skins and are very sensitive to the various slightest changes in the environment.
